"A Night in Bethlehem!"
Here how it works... hear the festive music...wander through the bakery and create fun products in the market place shops...encounter a frantic census taker.. and meet shepherds who can;t wait to share a remarkable story. Our guests will actually talk with shopkeepers, shepherds, and Joseph and Mary. Again and again families hear the beautiful story of God's love...and a promise fulfilled!
This incredible hands-on event will reach out and attract families from our church and community! People can't wait to see, taste, touch, and feel what life was like in Bethlehem the night Jesus was born. Even bah humbug grinches are swept up in the compelling message of God's love when they come face to face with the miracle of Jesus' birth. This is a great chance to show our community that WCC is the best place to be on Sunday! Please visit the sign-up table in the lobby. There is something for everyone to do!
Wee Worship Teachers Needed! Sign Up in the Lobby!
We need you! We need 12 teams of 2 for 2009! It's that time again! January will soon be here and we need to get our Wee Worship Ministry ready to go! We would like to have 12 teams of two people. Please pick a month that you would be willing to help with these children. We feel that they will do better if the teachers are in the classroom for a month.
If you are a parent with a child in Wee Worship, we ask that you volunteer for a month, if possible. Find a partner that you enjoy working with and the two of you can make a difference in these children's lives. Curriculum and materials will be provided.
We are also in need for this month too. With so many traveling in December, we are trying for 4 teams of two for this month.
We will have a meeting for everyone that signs up before January. At this meeting we will all get together and bring some ideas to the table that will help as we work with these children. Please find a partner and sign up soon. This class can be a stepping block to keep these children involved in church their entire lives.
